Recipe for Strawberry Shortcake Cake

This strawberry shortcake cake recipe is very easy and fast to make. Strawberry shortcake cake is great dessert any time of the year!

Ingredients:

• 1 loaf frozen pound cake, thawed
• 3 cups strawberries, hulled and sliced
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 3 Tbsp. powdered sugar
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:

1. Mash half of the strawberries.
2. Stir in the sliced strawberries and chill.
3. Beat cream with powdered sugar and vanilla.
4. Slice pound cake, place each piece on serving plate, top with strawberry mixture and a dollop of cream.

Serve the strawberry shortcake cake immediately.
